I've just had the same "window shade string screw pulling out of the wall" problem and this was very disappointing. I was already in conversations with Lazy Daze about restoring my 26.5 Midbath coach, the end caps on the left side's front back ends are all warping, cracking and coming unglued. This is something I would much prefer the factory to repair.

I mist say that you're rather sanguine about this, I paid extra for Lazy Daze quality and we've had a number of other issues with our coach that would really make me think about buying another. The User Manual that LD supplies is quite thorough, but they make no mention of sealing the end caps, checking for leaks around windows.... and it certainly would have been very nice to receive an e-mail or letter from the factory telling owners how to prevent some of the problems that are obviously popping up.

By any chance do you have your photos available in higher resolution?ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06318332058369295226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9155514213922491267.post-72359511181381650822016-11-26T16:44:07.858-06:002016-11-26T16:44:07.858-06:00Thank you for taking time to document this process...Thank you for taking time to document this process. Looks like you're getting your money's worth. It looks pretty brand new to me! I wonder how many screws we have that have let moisture in and the devil's work has already begun. It seems to me it doesn't matter how old the rig is or how many miles it has - this was a building error on their part and they are lucky you aren't asking for reimbursement from an RV shop with all the labor included. Thank goodness Bill and Victor knew what they were doing and were able to fix it the right way. It looks really great! :)Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516591720277269204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9155514213922491267.post-71079777845154082802015-02-20T07:34:04.434-06:002015-02-20T07:34:04.434-06:00Great job!
